The two main display galleries at the Museum of Bath at Work are fully accessible for all visitors.
We regret that the ground floor (Hudson Gallery, stone mines and cabinet-making display, library & research room) is not accessible for wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility.
Please ring 01225 318 348 to reserve a space in the staff-only car park if you are planning to visit – if possible, at least one day ahead of your visit.
There is level access to the access door at the rear of the museum building. If you ring 01225 318348 when you arrive we can direct you to the door and welcome you when you arrive.
We have a wheelchair lift to the top floor display gallery
We have benches or chairs in all of our galleries and in the entrance area
There is a disabled-accessible toilet adjacent to the level access door on the main display floor. Other toilets are on the ground floor by the entrance.
Free audioguides are available to describe the displays
Assistance dogs are welcome in the Museum.
If you have any concerns about your planned visit, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
