Our latest Common Ground local history exhibition accompanies the Cross Memorial Lecture of October 5th and is concerned with Bath’s presence, at the British Empire Exhibition held at Wembley in 1924-5.
With exhibits from Harbutts’ Plasticine, Horstmann Cars, Bath Cabinet Makers and Blackmore and Langdon’s Nurseries, Bath had a disproportionately large presence at the exhibition. Come along and find out why!
