Costing the Earth: Bath’s Changing Environment

Costing the Earth exhibition has been created by four local community groups assessing how Bath’s environment has been affected by industrialisation from 1700 to the present day. The exhibition features new research on how Bath, with its particular topography, climate, street plan and businesses has been affected by urbanisation and commercial development. Tourism has coloured such development for more than 250 years.  The Museum has offered advice and training as to how this could be done and follows in a tradition that the museum established more than a decade ago and is funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
